Truck Rental for Class A and Class B Drive Test
All fees and charges are solely for rental of the vehicle.
Tulsa CDL Truck Rental is not a driver training school. We do not provide driver training.
The driver should have already obtained the skills necessary for safe operation of the truck,
including properly shifting a standard vehicle and backing skills, prior to scheduling testing.
The renter will be asked to demonstrate that they are able to safely operate the vehicle.
Tulsa CDL Truck Rental is not affiliated with the Department of Public Safety
and we reserve the right to refuse rental to any driver we deem unsafe
or who may pose a danger in any manner to our employees or others.
will need the following forms of identification
on the test date:
- Current Oklahoma drivers license
- State-issued birth certificate or passport
- Proof of residency at address on drivers license (utility bill, Oklahoma voter registration, or Oklahoma concealed carry permit)
- D.L. 18 (test score sheet) and permit
- D.O.T. medical card
ORIGINAL COPIES ARE REQUIRED.
PHOTO COPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Once you have passed your written CDL test or have your CDL permit, contact the Department of Public Safety (405)425-2196 and schedule a drive test.
Due to the high volume of calls received by the Department of Public Safety, you may experience long wait times.
The CDL drive test cannot be scheduled online.
Please contact us prior to scheduling your drive test to be sure we have a truck available for your preferred test date.
An applicant determined by an examiner to be cheating on any portion of an examination will:
- immediately forfeit the examination,
- be given a failing grade by the examiner, and
- be disqualified from retaking the examination for one week.
The official rules my be found in the CDL Manual and official Department of Public Safety rules may be found in Title 595, Chapter 11. Specific instructions will be given to you prior to your testing by the examiner.
